Photography during the Bachelor’s program

Unfortunately, due to the corona pandemic, most of the photography lessons have been shifted to online teaching. Nevertheless, I would like to share a small photo gallery of the resulting projects.

The pictures above were taken as part of a photo challenge. We had a certain amount of time to take photos of certain terms and then discuss them with our teacher.

In another task, everyone had to take different pictures to match certain colors. These then had to be arranged according to a color gradient. The result of this task can be seen below.

Final Thesis – Photo Project

In collaboration with Sarah Matzka, who needed photos for her final thesis, these are some of the pictures that were taken. The crowns were the focus of her thesis. The focus of the pictures was therefore on reflecting the different characteristics of the crowns in the pictures.

Exhibitions & Events

Due to my great interest in various art forms, I have repeatedly visited and photographed various exhibitions in Vienna. Here are some examples from the Star Wars exhibition „The Fans Strike Back“ at the Wiener Stadthalle.

Black Lives Matter

As part of the Black Lives Matter movement, I attended the demonstration in Vienna and documented it. Here you can find some impressions and the external link to the article that was written at the time.

Travel Photography

Australia

After graduating from high school, I took a few months to travel a bit. My first stop was Australia, as I had family there at the time. I was also very fascinated by the Australian nature and wildlife – apart from the spiders, perhaps. Here are some impressions from that trip.

New Zealand

My second destination on this trip was New Zealand. I drove the whole island from south to north and saw lots of great places along the way. Among other things, I did a volcano hike and visited Hobbington. Although I also saw lots of great animals in New Zealand, I was particularly impressed by the diversity of nature there.

Japan

My third and final stop on this trip took me to Tokyo. I’ve always been a big anime fan and really wanted to see the country and learn about the culture. I was very impressed by the city itself. The different districts left me with very different and exciting impressions. One of my favorite excursions during my stay was the visit to the teamLab Borderless museum. I really enjoyed my visit there – the artistic installations were extremely impressive.

Private Photo Projects

Birds

I love photography and enjoy trying out different types of photography. Portraits are great fun and I like that you can interact with the people you photograph, but with animals it’s all about the right moment. I’ve spent a lot of time in nature on my vacations in recent years and discovered my love for birds. I just love watching and photographing birds, because they always make me laugh.

And yes, I don’t just like photographing particularly beautiful or colorful birds deep in the forest. A pigeon in the middle of the city can also be an exciting model – but above all a lazy one.

Light Graffity

I like to try out different things with my camera. Of course, light graffiti should not be missing.
